I've told you how I felt Hanoi was another version of Paris, and it just was. Anywhere gave me the sensation of being in a European city and I loved it so much. I must appreciate my friend who forced me to take a ridiculous amount of photos, I was so embarrassed because of people walking pass by hehe. But it's all ok, I was thankful she made me do it :P. I would regret not taking photos here at the most photogenic city in Vietnam, oh well, after Hoi An (and you can read my posts about Hoi An HERE :).
The most amazing spot my friend showed me was a small alley that has tiny bookstores. They were located deep down and I was scared walking in. But the effort was totally worth it.

We wandered around the oldest part of Hanoi and stumbled across this really interesting alley. It was an old apartment buildings and surprisingly had a lot of stores inside. The stuff was eh but they made me so excited to discover them, it's like gems that you never expect to find.

Then we took a long walk to the main theater of Hanoi and discovered this crowded street full of food.

Another discovery that made me almost cry. I absolutely am crazy about pottery and especially Bat Trang Pottery (a traditional pottery brand that produces gorgeous mugs, bows in Northern Vietnam). And there it was for the first time, I saw a stall that displayed so many different things, they were so pretty.
And the last place we went during the trip was this cafe called Cộng (as in Communism). My friend didn't like it one bit because of the theme but she had to suck it up to please me muahaha. Just kidding, we really didn't have a place to go haha. But the atmosphere was nice and cool, the drinks were a bit expensive but I was in holiday mood, so no complaints. There was so many of them around the city and I couldn't remember which one was this, but my Hanoian friend said this was the one with the best view.
We said goodbye in a hard way, because I knew this would be the last time for a few years, that I could visit another Vietnamese city. And I miss it so much! Another place made such an impression in my heart, and I would come back again with my loved one.
I hope that you have a great time reading about Hanoi and maybe someday enjoy it like I did too!
